The press frame for each hydraulic press is fabricated from tested premium grade steel using IS 2062 material. This sturdy build quality ensures acceptance of maximum loads with minimal deflection, resulting in uniform pressing all round. The cylinders of each press are made of tested seamless/solid bored high quality tubes, and are fitted with Chevron-type oil seals. All rams are made out of tested steel and machined, ground, hard chrome-plated and finally buffed to ensure long life.
The hydraulic system is extremely efficient and has minimum power consumption. It is assembled with industry proven components consisting of fast-closing high flow pumps and radial piston high pressure pumps. The top and bottom bolsters are fabricated out of tested steel plates and are of heavy duty, sturdy construction.
For distribution of heating, hose pipes with stainless steel braiding are used for longer working life. Passages are drilled using the latest deep hole drilling machine. The holes are very accurate with a honing finish resulting in uniform and rapid heating. The surfaces are smooth and because of this, scaling is minimised considerably.
