The Press Frame is fabricated from tested premium grade steel (Eq to IS 2062). The sturdy all welded construction has minimum deflection under maximum load condition resulting in uniform pressing over the entire working area.
Cylinder Ram Assembly:
The cylinder is made out of imported seamless tubes/solid bored tested high quality forgings. Special grade CI bushes are used to guide the ram. Cylinders are fitted with chevron type oil seals. All rams are manufactured out of tested steel. They are machined, ground, hard chrome plated and finally buffed for long life. Wiper seals are provided at the top to prevent ingress of dirt.
The hydraulic system is extremely efficient and has minimum power consumption. The system is assembled with industry proven components consisting of fast-closing high flow pumps and radial piston high-pressure pumps. The power pack is equipped with in-built strainers for continuous filtration of oil. Heat exchangers are provided for high capacity presses. Multistage pressing systems are also made on request.
Top and Bottom Bolsters: (Table and Crown)
These are fabricated out of tested steel plates and are of heavy duty, sturdy construction. This design enables the pressure to be distributed uniformly over the entire platen area to prevent corner de-lamination. In case of high-pressure presses, solid bolsters are used.
For distribution of heating medium- steam/oil-stainless steel hose pipes with stainless steel braiding are used for longer working life.
Drilling: The passages are drilled using latest deep hole drilling machine. The hole is drilled in one continuous step up to a length of 3 meters without any taper. The holes are very accurate with honing finish resulting in uniform and rapid heating.
Surface finish: The surfaces are smooth and because of this scaling is minimized considerably. The pressing surface is finished by belt sanding and grinding for special applications.
For laminate presses the grinding on the plate is done with Latest CNC Grinding machine as a result of which we get the finish within 40-micron tolerance.
